The events of the series revolve around a central character, “Dinar,” who is its true hero that specializes in banking affairs and their dealings, interested in and following everything related to national banks and the latest developments of international banks. He is always critical of the shortcomings of national banks that may lead to their collapse and thus the collapse of the national economy. The work is based on the book “Banking Stories” by Dr. Hashim Al-Sayed. The idea of producing this series came from the author’s point of view, as he has long experience in banking.
The events of this series revolve around social customs in the State of Qatar and the GCC countries with a kind of comedy, focusing on the game of football as the first popular game not only at the local level but also at the regional and global levels, while presenting some stories about sporting events and celebrities of the game in a purposeful comic style. The series adopts the Gulf dialect in dialogue, and the idea is to allocate a specific topic for each episode, which is topics that are generally related to the game of football, such as professionalism, the foreign player, the coach, the match referee, and sports investment. This keeps the viewer in constant contact with the events. This is done through the main characters in the scenario, with the appearance of some characters that play some secondary roles in the episodes. Eco Media intends to show the third part of the Tembah series on television screens during the holy month of Ramadan.
Following the success achieved in the first part of the series, the company produced the second part in 2015 by Qatari screenwriter Talib Al-Dous and the directed by Sameh Mostafa from Egypt. The second part witnessed new characters and increasing the duration of episodes from seven to ten minutes with sequences to create more space for purposeful humor. Each episode bears a special title related to the general idea of the series, such as a professional player, the women's team, the league champion, the club president, the referee, the elections, the star of the team, and the camp. A group of the brightest Qatari artists were chosen to play the roles, namely Faleh Fayez, Ali Mirza, Hadiya Saeed, Fatima Al-Shorouki, Kholoud Al-Hamidi, Muhammad Anwar, Saeed Al-Mannai, Rashid Saad, Khaled Khamis.
The third part of the episodes carry a group of titles, such as: The young player, club financing and the robot, selling a player, emergency meeting, localization, and others. It continues to address a topic that has become of interest to all age groups, which is the widely popular game of football around the world, in a sophisticated comedic form that places it in the ranks of valuable artistic works in all aspects, especially performance and dialogue. This is in line with Ecomedia's philosophy of producing purposeful works, and allocating a specific topic for each episode keeps the viewer in constant contact with the events, and to come up with lessons learned from the cartoon work, and it is not just a matter of humor.
